3Anh chị em thân mến, trước kia tôi nhiệt thành viết cho anh chị em về ơn cứu rỗi Đức Chúa Trời ban cho chúng ta, nhưng nay, tôi thấy cần khuyên nhủ anh chị em hãy tích cực bảo vệ chân lý mà Đức Chúa Trời ban cho dân thánh Ngài một lần là đủ hết. 4Tôi nói vậy, vì có vài phần tử vô đạo trà trộn vào hàng ngũ anh chị em tuyên bố rằng sau khi tin Chúa, chúng ta muốn làm gì cũng được, không còn sợ Đức Chúa Trời phán xét nữa. Số phận bọn người đó đã được định đoạt từ lâu rồi, vì họ từ bỏ Đấng Chủ tể duy nhất là Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu, Chúa chúng ta.Thưởng Phạt Công Bằng
5Tôi xin nhắc lại sự thật anh chị em đã biết: Dù Chúa cứu cả một dân tộc ra khỏi Ai Cập, nhưng sau đó Ngài trừ diệt những người không chịu tin cậy vâng phục Ngài. 6Anh chị em nên nhớ, những thiên sứ không chịu giữ địa vị của mình mà sa vào tội lỗi đã bị Đức Chúa Trời xiềng lại mãi mãi trong ngục tối để đợi ngày phán xét. 7Cũng đừng quên hai thành Sô-đôm và Gô-mô-rơ cùng các thị trấn chung quanh đầy dẫy mọi thứ dâm ô, kể cả tình dục đồng giới. Các thành phố ấy đều bị lửa tiêu diệt và trở thành tấm gương cảnh cáo cho chúng ta biết có một hỏa ngục cháy đời đời để hình phạt tội nhân.Bọn Vô Đạo
8Thế mà những người lầm lạc kia cứ sống mãi cuộc đời gian ác, làm nhơ nhuốc thân thể, khinh bỉ mọi uy quyền và chế giễu cả các bậc tà linh cường bạo. 9Đến như Mi-ca-ên, là một trong những vị thiên sứ lớn nhất, khi tranh luận với quỷ vương về thi hài Môi-se, cũng chẳng dám nặng lời tố cáo mà chỉ nói: “Cầu Đức Chúa Trời khiển trách ngươi!” 10Còn bọn này hễ điều gì không hiểu cũng đem ra nhạo cười chế giễu hết, như đám súc vật vô tri, muốn gì làm nấy, để rồi hủy hoại linh hồn mình. 11Thật khốn cho họ! Họ đã đi con đường sa đọa của Ca-in, vì ham lợi mà theo vết xe đổ của Ba-la-am và phản nghịch như Cô-rê để rồi bị tiêu diệt. 12Những người này ngồi dự tiệc yêu thương với anh chị em trong Hội Thánh, như một vết nhơ giữa anh chị em, chỉ lo đùa giỡn cười cợt và ăn cho đầy bụng, chứ chẳng để ý gì đến người khác. Bọn họ cũng như đám mây bạt theo chiều gió không thể đổ mưa, hứa hẹn nhiều mà đem lại chẳng bao nhiêu, như cây ăn trái mà đến mùa lại không ra trái. Họ chẳng những hư vong, mà còn chết tới hai lần, đã bật rễ mất gốc, lại còn bị thiêu đốt. 13Họ để lại phía sau những tủi nhục nhuốc nhơ như đám bọt biển bẩn thỉu trôi bập bềnh theo những lượn sóng tấp vào bờ. Họ vụt sáng như mảnh sao băng, để rồi vĩnh viễn rơi vào vùng tối tăm mù mịt. 14Hê-nóc, vị tổ bảy đời sau A-đam đã nói tiên tri về họ rằng: “Trông kìa, Chúa đang ngự đến với muôn triệu thánh đồ. 15Chúa sẽ đem bọn người vô đạo ra xét xử, sẽ phanh phui những hành vi chống nghịch Đức Chúa Trời và những lời lẽ ngạo mạn họ nói phạm đến Ngài.” 16Lúc nào họ cũng ta thán, oán trách, theo đuổi dục vọng xấu xa, kiêu căng phách lối, phỉnh nịnh người ta để lợi dụng.Khuyên Nhủ
17Anh chị em thân yêu, chắc anh chị em còn nhớ, các sứ đồ của Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu đã từng nói cho anh chị em biết rằng, 18đến thời kỳ cuối cùng sẽ có những người khinh bạc giễu cợt hết mọi thứ, chỉ biết sống theo dục vọng xấu xa. 19Họ hay gây chia rẽ xáo trộn, ưa nếp sống vật chất, vì không có Chúa Thánh Linh. 20Thưa anh chị em thân yêu, về phần anh chị em, hãy xây dựng cuộc sống thật vững mạnh trên nền tảng đức tin thánh thiện, hãy học tập cầu nguyện trong quyền năng Chúa Thánh Linh. 21Hãy ở luôn trong vòng tay yêu thương của Đức Chúa Trời trong khi chờ đợi Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu nhân từ hoàn thành sự sống vĩnh cửu trong anh chị em. 22Hãy tỏ lòng thương xót những người phân tâm, dao động, 23đưa tay vực họ ra khỏi lửa. Đối với người khác, phải vừa thương vừa sợ, ghét cả những tấm áo bị tội lỗi họ làm ô uế.Kết Luận
24Cầu xin tất cả vinh quang thuộc về Đức Chúa Trời, Đấng thừa sức gìn giữ anh chị em thánh khiết trọn vẹn, không vấp ngã, và đem anh chị em vào nơi ngự vinh quang của Ngài, giữa những tiếng reo vui bất tận. 25Tất cả vinh quang Ngài đều quy về Đức Chúa Trời duy nhất, Đấng Cứu Rỗi chúng ta do Chúa Cứu Thế Giê-xu, Chúa chúng ta. Vâng, tất cả vinh quang, uy nghiêm, sức mạnh, và quyền thế đều thuộc về Chúa từ trước vô cùng, hiện nay, và cho đến đời đời! A-men.

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
