1От Шимона Петира, раба и посланника Исы аль-Масиха ▼▼ Аль-Масих (переводится как «Помазанник») – праведный Царь и Освободитель, Спаситель, обещанный Аллахом ещё в Таурате, Забуре и Книге Пророков. Аль (также передаётся в русской транскрипции как эль, الـ) — определённый артикль в арабском языке.

3Его Божественная сила дала нам всё необходимое для жизни и благочестия через познание Аллаха, призвавшего нас Своей собственной славой и добродетелью. 4Благодаря им Он дал нам самые великие и драгоценные обещания, чтобы через них вы стали причастны к Божественной природе и избежали растления земными страстями. 5Поэтому приложите все старания, чтобы дополнить вашу веру добродетелью, добродетель – знанием, 6знание – умением владеть собой, умение владеть собой – стойкостью, стойкость – благочестием, 7благочестие – братолюбием, братолюбие – любовью. 8Если в вас есть эти качества и если они умножаются, то ваше познание нашего Повелителя Исы аль-Масиха уже не будет чем-то бесполезным и бесплодным. 9У кого же этих качеств нет, тот близорук и слеп и забыл об очищении от своих прошлых грехов. 10Поэтому, братья, ещё более старайтесь укрепляться в вашем положении призванных и избранных. Так вы никогда не споткнётесь, 11и вам будет широко открыт вход в вечное Царство нашего Повелителя и Спасителя Исы аль-Масиха. 12И потому я никогда не перестану вам об этом напоминать, хотя вам это и известно, и вы утверждены в истине, которую приняли. 13Но пока я нахожусь в этом теле, я считаю правильным освежать вашу память. 14Я знаю, что скоро мне предстоит уйти из этой жизни, как и наш Повелитель Иса аль-Масих открыл мне ▼▼ См. Мы сами были очевидцами Его величия. 17Честь и слава были даны Ему Небесным Отцом, голос Которого прозвучал для Него в великой славе: «Это Мой любимый Сын (Избранный Мной Царь) ▼▼ То, что Иса назван Сыном Всевышнего, не означает, что у Аллаха есть сын, который был зачат обычным путём. В древности у иудеев титул «сын Всевышнего» применялся к царям Исраила (см. 2 Цар. 7:14; Заб. 2:6-7 ), но также указывал на ожидаемого Масиха, Спасителя и праведного Царя от Аллаха, т. е. Ису (см. Ин. 1:49; 11:27; 20:31 ). В Инджиле через этот термин постепенно раскрывается идея вечных взаимоотношений Всевышнего и аль-Масиха, указывающая на сходство характеров и единство природы Этих Личностей, на понятном нам примере – близкие взаимоотношения отца и сына (см. 1 Ин. 2:23 ).

Мудр. 4:18 ).

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
