Езекия – царь Иудеи
(4 Цар. 18:1-3)
1Езекии было двадцать пять лет, когда он стал царём, и правил он в Иерусалиме двадцать девять лет. Его мать звали Авия, она была дочерью Закарии. 2Он делал то, что было правильным в глазах Вечного, как и его предок Давуд.Езекия очищает храм
3В первый месяц (ранней весной), на первом году своего правления, он открыл двери храма Вечного и починил их. 4Он привёл священнослужителей и левитов, собрал их на площади с восточной стороны 5и сказал им: – Слушайте меня, левиты! Освятитесь сегодня сами и освятите храм Вечного, Бога ваших предков. Выбросите из святилища всякую скверну. 6Наши отцы поступали беззаконно, делая зло в глазах Вечного, нашего Бога, и оставили Его. Они отвернули свои лица от жилища Вечного и повернулись к нему спиной. 7Они заперли двери притвора и погасили светильники. Они не возжигали благовоний и не приносили всесожжений в святилище Бога Исраила. 8За это гнев Вечного обрушился на Иудею и Иерусалим. Он отдал их на позор, на опустошение и на посмеяние, как вы видите своими глазами. 9Поэтому наши отцы пали от меча, а наши сыновья, дочери и жёны в плену. 10И теперь я хочу заключить соглашение с Вечным, Богом Исраила, чтобы Его пылающий гнев на нас прекратился. 11Дети мои, не будьте же беспечными, потому что Вечный избрал вас служить Ему и возжигать благовония. 12И начали своё служение левиты: из потомков Каафа – Махат, сын Амасая, и Иоиль, сын Азарии;из потомков Мерари – Киш, сын Авди, и Азария, сын Иехаллелила;
из потомков Гершона – Иоах, сын Зиммы, и Еден, сын Иоаха;
13 из потомков Элицафана – Шимри и Иеил;
из потомков Асафа – Закария и Маттания;
14 из потомков Емана – Иехиил и Шимей;
из потомков Иедутуна – Шемая и Узиил.
15Собрав своих братьев и освятившись, они пришли очищать храм Вечного, как, следуя словам Вечного, повелел царь. 16Священнослужители прошли в святилище Вечного, чтобы очистить его. Они вынесли во двор храма Вечного всё нечистое, что нашли в храме Вечного. Левиты взяли это и отнесли в долину Кедрон. 17Приступив к освящению в первый день первого месяца, они подошли к притвору храма Вечного в восьмой день того же месяца. Ещё восемь дней они освящали сам храм и закончили на шестнадцатый день первого месяца. 18Они пришли к царю Езекии и сказали: – Мы очистили весь храм Вечного, жертвенник для всесожжений со всей его утварью и стол, на который кладут священный хлеб, со всей его утварью. 19Всю утварь, которую во время своего правления убрал неверный царь Ахаз, мы приготовили и освятили. Она сейчас перед жертвенником Вечного.
Освящение храма
20На следующий день, ранним утром, царь Езекия собрал начальников города и отправился в храм Вечного. 21Они привели семь быков, семь баранов, семь ягнят и семь козлов, чтобы принести их в жертву за грех за царскую семью, за святилище и за всю Иудею. Царь велел священнослужителям, потомкам Харуна, принести их в жертву на жертвеннике Вечного. 22Быков закололи, и священнослужители, взяв крови, окропили ею жертвенник. Затем закололи баранов и окропили жертвенник их кровью. Затем закололи ягнят и окропили жертвенник их кровью. 23А козлов, которые были предназначены в жертву за грех, поставили перед царём и собранием, и они возложили на них руки. 24Затем священнослужители закололи козлов и принесли их кровь на жертвеннике как жертву за грех, чтобы очистить весь Исраил, потому что царь велел совершить всесожжение и принести жертву за грех за весь Исраил. 25Езекия поставил левитов с тарелками, лирами и арфами в храме Вечного, по указанию Давуда, царского провидца Гада и пророка Нафана. Это установление было дано Вечным через Его пророков. 26Левиты стояли наготове с музыкальными инструментами Давуда, а священнослужители – с трубами. 27Езекия велел принести на жертвеннике всесожжение. Когда жертвоприношение началось, началось и пение Вечному под голос труб и музыкальных инструментов Давуда, царя Исраила. 28Всё собрание совершало поклонение, певцы пели, а трубачи трубили. Так продолжалось, пока жертвоприношение не было завершено. 29Когда жертвы были принесены, царь и все, кто был с ним, преклонили колени и поклонились. 30Царь Езекия со своими приближёнными велел левитам славить Вечного словами Давуда и провидца Асафа. И они радостно пели хвалу, кланялись и прославляли Вечного. 31Езекия сказал: – Итак, вы посвятили себя Вечному. Приступайте, несите жертвы и благодарственные приношения в храм Вечного. Народ принёс жертвы и благодарственные приношения, а все, кто был к этому расположен, принесли и всесожжения. 32Жертв всесожжения, которые принёс народ, было общим счётом: семьдесят быков, сто баранов и двести ягнят – всё это для всесожжения Вечному. 33Других священных жертв было: шестьсот голов крупного и три тысячи голов мелкого скота. 34Но священнослужителей было слишком мало, чтобы освежевать все туши жертв всесожжения, и пока другие священнослужители не освятились, их сородичи левиты помогали им, пока работа не была сделана, потому что левиты отнеслись к освящению добросовестнее, чем священнослужители. 35Жертв всесожжения и жира жертв примирения с жертвенными возлияниями, которыми сопровождались всесожжения, было в изобилии. Так было восстановлено служение в храме Вечного. 36Езекия и весь народ радовались тому, что сделал для Своего народа Аллах, ведь сделано это было так быстро.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
