1Царь Давуд сказал всему собранию: – Мой сын Сулейман, единственный, кого избрал Аллах, молод и неопытен. Работа велика, ведь это не дворец для человека, а храм для Вечного Бога. 2Я всё приготовил для храма моего Бога, что только смог – золото, серебро, бронзу, железо и дерево, а кроме того, много оникса и камней в оправы, бирюзы, разноцветных камней, всех видов драгоценных камней и мрамора. 3Кроме того, из любви к моему Богу я отдаю собственное золото и серебро на храм моего Бога сверх всего того, что я заготовил для этого святого храма. Я отдаю: 4108 тонн золота из Офира и 252 тонны ▼▼ Букв.: «3 000… 7 000 талантов».

великолепие, победа и слава,
ведь в небесах и на земле – всё Твоё.
Твоё, о Вечный, царство,
Ты над всем вознесён как Глава.
12 От Тебя богатство и честь,
Ты – властитель всего.
В руках Твоих сила и власть
вознести и укрепить любого.
13 И сейчас, Бог наш, мы благодарим Тебя
и хвалим Твоё славное имя.
14– Но кто я и кто мой народ, чтобы нам делать это добровольное пожертвование? Всё происходит от Тебя, и мы даём Тебе лишь то, что получили из Твоей руки. 15Мы странники и чужеземцы в Твоих глазах, какими были и наши предки. Наши дни на земле – как тень, и мы не можем избежать смерти ▼

. 16Вечный, наш Бог, всё это изобилие, что мы приготовили для строительства храма, где Ты будешь пребывать в Своей святости, мы получили из Твоей руки, оно целиком принадлежит Тебе. 17Я знаю, мой Бог, что Ты испытываешь сердца и Тебе угодна искренность. Я от чистого сердца добровольно отдал всё это и теперь с радостью вижу, что и Твой народ, который находится здесь, добровольно жертвует Тебе. 18Вечный, Бог наших предков – Ибрахима, Исхака и Якуба ▼▼ Букв.: «Исраила». Аллах дал Якубу новое имя – Исраил (см. Нач. 32:27-28 ).

21На следующий день народ принёс жертвы Вечному и вознёс Ему всесожжения: тысячу быков, тысячу баранов и тысячу ягнят вместе с положенными жертвенными возлияниями и многими другими жертвами за весь Исраил. 22Люди ели и пили в тот день перед Вечным с великой радостью. Затем они признали Сулеймана, сына Давуда, царём во второй раз, помазав его перед Вечным в правители, а Цадока – в священнослужители. 23И Сулейман сел на престол Вечного как царь вместо своего отца Давуда. Он преуспевал, и весь Исраил повиновался ему. 24Все вожди и могучие воины, а также все сыновья царя Давуда признали над собой власть царя Сулеймана. 25Вечный высоко вознёс Сулеймана в глазах всего Исраила и даровал ему такое царское великолепие, какого не было прежде ни у кого из исраильских царей.Смерть Давуда

26Давуд, сын Есея, был царём всего Исраила. 27Он правил Исраилом сорок лет – семь лет в Хевроне и тридцать три года в Иерусалиме. 28Он умер в глубокой старости, насытившись жизнью, богатством и славой. И царём вместо него стал его сын Сулейман. 29События царствования царя Давуда, от первых до последних, описаны в «Записях пророка Шемуила», в «Записях пророка Нафана» и в «Записях пророка Гада». 30Эти записи повествуют о деяниях Давуда во время его царствования, о его власти и событиях, которые выпали на его долю, о том, что случилось с Исраилом и всеми царствами земли.

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
