‎ Leviticus 23:5-10

5«در غروب روز چهاردهم اولين ماه هر سال مراسم پسح را به احترام من بجا آوريد. 6از روز پانزدهم همان ماه، عيد فطير آغاز می‌شود و تا هفت روز بايد فقط نان بدون خميرمايه خورده شود. 7در روز اول اين عيد برای عبادت جمع شويد و از همهٔ كارهای معمول خود دست بكشيد. 8هفت روز هدايای سوختنی به من تقديم نماييد و در روز هفتم نيز از كارهای معمول خود دست كشيده برای عبادت جمع شويد.
