Psa 55:3-5 | NASB2020 | STEP | Because of the voice of the enemy , Because of the pressure of the wicked ; For they bring down trouble upon me And in anger they hold a grudge against me.

3 Because of the voice of the enemy,
Because of the ^apressure of the wicked;
For they ^bbring down ^{▼▼Or wickedness}trouble upon me
And in anger they ^dhold a grudge against me.

4 My ^eheart is in anguish within me,
And the terrors of ^fdeath have fallen upon me.
5 Fear and ^gtrembling come upon me,
And ^{▼▼Lit shuddering} ⁱhorror has ^{▼▼Lit covered}overwhelmed me.
