Sit at My Right Hand
A Psalm of David.
1 aThe Lord says to my Lord:b“Sit at my right hand,
cuntil I make your enemies your dfootstool.”
2The Lord sends forth efrom Zion
fyour mighty scepter.
gRule in the midst of your enemies!
3 hYour people will ioffer themselves freely
on the day of your jpower, ▼
▼Or on the day you lead your forces
in lholy garments; ▼

from the womb of the morning,
the dew of your youth will be yours. ▼

4 oThe Lord has psworn
and will qnot change his mind,
r“You are sa priest tforever
after the order of uMelchizedek.”
5The Lord is at your vright hand;
he will wshatter kings on xthe day of his wrath.
6He will yexecute judgment among the nations,
zfilling them with corpses;
he will aashatter chiefs ▼
▼Or the head
over the wide earth.
7He will acdrink from the brook by the way;
therefore he will lift up his head.
