Iesu'n iacháu dyn wedi ei barlysu
(Marc 2:1-12; Luc 5:17-26) 1Dyma Iesu'n mynd i mewn i gwch a chroesi'r llyn yn ôl i'w dref ei hun. ▼▼9:1 i'w dref ei hun: Capernaum (gw. 4:13)
2A dyma rhyw bobl yn dod â dyn wedi ei barlysu ato, yn gorwedd ar fatras. Pan welodd Iesu eu ffydd nhw, dwedodd wrth y dyn oedd wedi ei barlysu, “Cod dy galon, ffrind; mae dy bechodau wedi eu maddau.” 3Dyma rhai o'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith yn dweud wrth ei gilydd, “Mae'r dyn yma'n cablu!” 4Ond roedd Iesu'n gwybod yn iawn beth oedd yn mynd trwy eu meddyliau, ac meddai, “Pam dych chi'n meddwl yn ddrwg amdana i? 5Beth ydy'r peth hawsaf i'w ddweud – ‘Mae dy bechodau wedi eu maddau,’ neu, ‘Cod ar dy draed a cherdda’? 6Cewch weld fod gen i, Fab y Dyn, hawl i faddau pechodau ar y ddaear …” Yna dyma Iesu'n troi at y dyn oedd wedi ei barlysu, a dweud, “Saf ar dy draed, cymer dy fatras a dos adre.” 7Yna cododd y dyn ar ei draed ac aeth adre. 8Roedd y dyrfa wedi dychryn, ▼▼9:8 wedi dychryn: Yn ôl rhai llawysgrifau wedi eu syfrdanu.

(Marc 2:13-17; Luc 5:27-32) 9Wrth i Iesu fynd yn ei flaen, gwelodd ddyn o'r enw Mathew yn eistedd yn y swyddfa dollau lle roedd yn gweithio. “Tyrd, dilyn fi,” meddai Iesu wrtho; a chododd Mathew ar unwaith a mynd ar ei ôl. 10Yn nes ymlaen aeth Iesu a'i ddisgyblion i dŷ Mathew am bryd o fwyd. Daeth criw mawr o'r rhai oedd yn casglu trethi i Rufain, a phobl eraill roedd y Phariseaid yn eu hystyried yn ‛bechaduriaid‛, i'r parti hefyd. 11Wrth weld hyn, dyma'r Phariseaid yn gofyn i'w ddisgyblion, “Pam mae eich athro yn bwyta gyda'r bradwyr sy'n casglu trethi i Rufain a phobl eraill sy'n ddim byd ond ‛pechaduriaid‛?” 12Clywodd Iesu nhw, ac meddai, “Dim pobl iach sydd angen meddyg, ond pobl sy'n sâl. 13Mae'n bryd i chi ddysgu beth ydy ystyr y dywediad: ‘Trugaredd dw i eisiau, nid aberthau.’ c Dw i wedi dod i alw pechaduriaid, dim rhai sy'n meddwl eu bod nhw heb fai.”Holi Iesu ynglŷn ag ymprydio

Pam?” 15Atebodd Iesu nhw, “Dydy pobl ddim yn mynd i wledd briodas i fod yn drist ac i alaru! Maen nhw yno i ddathlu gyda'r priodfab! Ond bydd y priodfab yn cael ei gymryd i ffwrdd oddi wrthyn nhw, a byddan nhw'n ymprydio bryd hynny. 16“Does neb yn trwsio hen ddilledyn gyda chlwt o frethyn newydd sydd heb shrincio. Byddai'r clwt o frethyn yn tynnu ar y dilledyn ac yn achosi rhwyg gwaeth. 17A dydy gwin sydd heb aeddfedu ddim yn cael ei dywallt i hen boteli crwyn. Wrth i'r gwin aeddfedu byddai'r crwyn yn byrstio ac yn difetha, a'r gwin yn cael ei golli. Na, rhaid tywallt y gwin i boteli crwyn newydd, a bydd y poteli a'r gwin yn cael ei gadw.”Merch fach wedi marw a gwraig oedd â gwaedlif
(Marc 5:21-43; Luc 8:40-56) 18Tra oedd yn dweud hyn, dyma un o'r arweinwyr Iddewig yn dod ato ac yn plygu ar ei liniau o'i flaen. “Mae fy merch fach newydd farw,” meddai, “ond tyrd i roi dy law arni, a daw yn ôl yn fyw.” 19Cododd Iesu a mynd gyda'r dyn, ac aeth y disgyblion hefyd. 20Dyna pryd y daeth rhyw wraig oedd wedi bod yn dioddef o waedlif ers deuddeng mlynedd a sleifio i fyny y tu ôl iddo a chyffwrdd y taselau ar ei glogyn. 21Roedd yn meddwl, “Petawn i ond yn llwyddo i gyffwrdd ei glogyn ca i fy iacháu.” 22Trodd Iesu a'i gweld, ac meddai wrthi, “Cod dy galon, wraig annwyl. Am i ti gredu rwyt wedi dy iacháu.” A'r eiliad honno cafodd y wraig ei hiacháu. 23Pan gyrhaeddodd Iesu dŷ'r dyn, roedd tyrfa swnllyd o bobl yn galaru, a rhai yn canu pibau. 24“Ewch i ffwrdd!” meddai wrthyn nhw, “Dydy'r ferch fach ddim wedi marw – cysgu mae hi!” Dechreuodd pobl chwerthin am ei ben, 25ond dyma Iesu'n anfon y dyrfa allan o'r tŷ. Yna aeth at y ferch fach a gafael yn ei llaw, a chododd ar ei thraed. 26Aeth yr hanes am hyn ar led drwy'r ardal honno i gyd.Iesu'n iacháu dau ddyn dall a dyn mud
27Pan aeth Iesu yn ei flaen oddi yno dyma ddau ddyn dall yn ei ddilyn, gan weiddi'n uchel, “Helpa ni, Fab Dafydd!” ▼▼9:27 Fab Dafydd: Un o deitlau y Meseia. Roedd yr Iddewon yn credu y byddai'r Meseia yn un o ddisgynyddion y Brenin Dafydd.
28Ar ôl mynd i mewn i'r tŷ, dyma'r dynion yn dod ato, a gofynnodd iddyn nhw, “Ydych chi'n credu go iawn y galla i wneud hyn?” “Ydyn, Arglwydd,” medden nhw. 29Yna cyffyrddodd eu llygaid nhw a dweud, “Cewch beth dych wedi ei gredu sy'n bosib,” 30ac roedden nhw'n gallu gweld eto. Dyma Iesu'n eu rhybuddio'n llym, “Gwnewch yn siŵr fod neb yn gwybod am hyn.” 31Ond pan aethon nhw allan, dyma nhw'n dweud wrth bawb drwy'r ardal i gyd amdano. 32Wrth iddyn nhw adael, dyma rhyw bobl yn dod â dyn at Iesu oedd yn methu siarad am ei fod yng ngafael cythraul. 33Pan gafodd y cythraul ei fwrw allan ohono, dyma'r dyn yn dechrau siarad. Roedd y dyrfa wedi ei syfrdanu, a phobl yn dweud, “Does dim byd tebyg i hyn wedi digwydd yn Israel erioed o'r blaen.” 34Ond roedd y Phariseaid yn dweud, “Tywysog y cythreuliaid sy'n rhoi'r gallu iddo wneud hyn.” Gweithwyr yn brin
35Roedd Iesu'n teithio o gwmpas yr holl drefi a'r pentrefi yn dysgu'r bobl yn eu synagogau, yn cyhoeddi'r newyddion da am deyrnasiad Duw, ac yn iacháu pob afiechyd a salwch. 36Roedd gweld tyrfaoedd o bobl yn ennyn tosturi ynddo, am eu bod fel defaid heb fugail, ar goll ac yn gwbl ddiymadferth. 37Ac meddai wrth ei ddisgyblion, “Mae'r cynhaeaf mor fawr, a'r gweithwyr mor brin! 38Felly, gofynnwch i Arglwydd y cynhaeaf anfon mwy o weithwyr i'w feysydd.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
