(Mathew 15:32-39) 1Roedd tyrfa fawr arall wedi casglu o'i gwmpas tua'r un adeg. Am bod dim bwyd gan y bobl, dyma Iesu'n galw ei ddisgyblion ato a dweud, 2“Dw i'n teimlo dros y bobl yma i gyd; maen nhw wedi bod yma ers tri diwrnod heb gael dim i'w fwyta. 3Os na chân nhw rywbeth i'w fwyta byddan nhw'n llewygu ar y ffordd adre. Mae rhai ohonyn nhw wedi dod o bell.” 4Atebodd y disgyblion, “Pa obaith sydd i unrhyw un ddod o hyd i ddigon o fwyd iddyn nhw yn y lle anial yma?!” 5Gofynnodd Iesu, “Sawl torth o fara ▼▼8:5 torth o fara: gw. y nodyn ar 6:38.

Cymerodd y saith torth ac offrymu gweddi o ddiolch i Dduw, yna eu torri a'u rhoi i'w ddisgyblion i'w rhannu i'r bobl. A dyna wnaeth y disgyblion. 7Roedd ychydig o bysgod bach ganddyn nhw hefyd; a gwnaeth Iesu yr un peth gyda'r rheiny. 8Cafodd pawb ddigon i'w fwyta, ac roedd saith llond cawell o dameidiau bwyd dros ben. 9Roedd tua pedair mil o bobl yno! Ar ôl eu hanfon i ffwrdd, 10aeth i mewn i'r cwch gyda'i ddisgyblion a chroesi i ardal Dalmanwtha. Hawlio arwydd

Ydych chi'n cofio dim byd? 19Pan o'n i'n rhannu'r pum torth rhwng y pum mil, sawl basgedaid o dameidiau oedd dros ben wnaethoch chi eu casglu?” “Deuddeg,” medden nhw. 20“A phan o'n i'n rhannu'r saith torth i'r pedair mil, sawl llond cawell o dameidiau wnaethoch chi eu casglu?” “Saith,” medden nhw. 21“Ydych chi'n dal ddim yn deall?” meddai Iesu wrthyn nhw. 22Dyma nhw'n cyrraedd Bethsaida, a dyma rhyw bobl yn dod â dyn dall at Iesu a gofyn iddo ei gyffwrdd. 23Gafaelodd Iesu yn llaw y dyn dall a'i arwain allan o'r pentref. Ar ôl poeri ar lygaid y dyn a gosod dwylo arno, gofynnodd Iesu iddo, “Wyt ti'n gweld o gwbl?” 24Edrychodd i fyny, ac meddai, “Ydw, dw i'n gweld pobl; ond maen nhw'n edrych fel coed yn symud o gwmpas.” 25Yna rhoddodd Iesu ei ddwylo ar lygaid y dyn eto. Pan agorodd y dyn ei lygaid, roedd wedi cael ei olwg yn ôl! Roedd yn gweld popeth yn glir. 26Dyma Iesu'n ei anfon adre, a dweud wrtho, “Paid mynd i mewn i'r pentref.”Datganiad Pedr

Byddai'r arweinwyr Iddewig, y prif offeiriaid a'r arbenigwyr yn y Gyfraith yn ei wrthod. Byddai'n cael ei ladd, ond yna'n dod yn ôl yn fyw ddeuddydd wedyn. 32Roedd yn siarad yn hollol blaen gyda nhw. Felly dyma Pedr yn mynd ag e i'r naill ochr a dweud drefn wrtho am ddweud y fath bethau. 33Ond trodd Iesu i edrych ar ei ddisgyblion, ac yna dweud drefn wrth Pedr o'u blaenau nhw. “Dos o'm golwg i Satan!” meddai. “Rwyt ti'n meddwl fel mae pobl yn meddwl yn lle gweld pethau fel mae Duw'n eu gweld nhw.” 34Wedyn galwodd y dyrfa ato gyda'i ddisgyblion, a dwedodd wrthyn nhw: “Rhaid i bwy bynnag sydd am fy nilyn i stopio rhoi nhw eu hunain gyntaf. Rhaid iddyn nhw aberthu eu hunain dros eraill a cherdded yr un llwybr â mi. 35Bydd y rhai sy'n ceisio cadw eu bywyd eu hunain yn colli'r bywyd go iawn, ond y rhai sy'n barod i ollwng gafael ar eu bywyd er fy mwyn i a'r newyddion da, yn diogelu bywyd go iawn. 36Beth ydy'r pwynt o gael popeth sydd gan y byd i'w gynnig, a cholli'r enaid? 37Oes gynnoch chi unrhyw beth sy'n fwy gwerthfawr na'r enaid? 38Pawb sydd â chywilydd ohono i a beth dw i'n ei ddweud yn yr oes ddi-gred a phechadurus yma, bydd gen i, Fab y Dyn, gywilydd ohonyn nhw pan fydda i'n dod yn ôl yn holl ysblander y Tad, a'r angylion sanctaidd gyda mi.”

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
