Dyffryn o Esgyrn Sychion yn dod yn fyw
1Roedd dylanwad yr Arglwydd arna i, a dyma'i Ysbryd yn mynd â fi i ffwrdd ac yn fy ngosod yng nghanol dyffryn llydan. Roedd y dyffryn yn llawn o esgyrn. 2Gwnaeth i mi gerdded o gwmpas drwy'i canol nhw, yn ôl ac ymlaen. Roedden nhw ym mhobman! Esgyrn sychion ar lawr y dyffryn i gyd. 3Yna gofynnodd i mi, “Ddyn, oes gobaith i'r esgyrn yma ddod yn ôl yn fyw eto?” A dyma fi'n ateb, “Meistr, Arglwydd, dim ond ti sy'n gwybod hynny.” 4Yna dyma fe'n gofyn i mi broffwydo dros yr esgyrn, a dweud wrthyn nhw: “Esgyrn sychion, gwrandwch ar neges yr Arglwydd. 5Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: ‘Dw i'n mynd i roi anadl ynoch chi, a dod â chi yn ôl yn fyw. 6Dw i'n mynd i roi cnawd arnoch chi, gewynnau a chyhyrau, a rhoi croen amdanoch chi. Wedyn bydda i'n rhoi anadl ynoch chi, a byddwch chi'n dod yn ôl yn fyw. Byddwch chi'n gwybod wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd.’” 7Felly, dyma fi'n proffwydo fel roedd Duw wedi dweud wrtho i. Ac wrth i mi wneud hynny dyma fi'n clywed sŵn ratlo, a dyma'r esgyrn yn dod at ei gilydd, pob un yn ôl i'w le. 8Wrth i mi edrych dyma fi'n gweld gewynnau a chyhyrau'n dod arnyn nhw, a chroen yn ffurfio amdanyn nhw, ond doedd dim anadl ynddyn nhw. 9A dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho i, “Proffwyda i'r anadl ddod. Ddyn, proffwyda a dweud, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Tyrd anadl, o'r pedwar gwynt. Anadla ar y cyrff yma, iddyn nhw ddod yn ôl yn fyw.’” 10Felly, dyma fi'n proffwydo fel roedd Duw wedi dweud wrtho i a dyma nhw'n dechrau anadlu. Roedden nhw'n fyw! A dyma nhw'n sefyll ar eu traed, yn un fyddin enfawr. 11Yna dyma'r Arglwydd yn dweud wrtho i, “Ddyn, pobl Israel ydy'r esgyrn yma. Maen nhw'n dweud, ‘Does dim gobaith! – dŷn ni wedi'n taflu i ffwrdd, fel esgyrn sychion.’ 12Ond dw i eisiau i ti broffwydo a dweud wrthyn nhw, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Dw i'n mynd i agor eich beddau, a dod â chi allan yn fyw! O fy mhobl, dw i'n mynd i'ch arwain chi yn ôl i wlad Israel! 13Pan fydda i'n agor eich beddau a dod â chi allan, byddwch chi'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd. 14Dw i'n mynd i anadlu fy Ysbryd fy hun i mewn i chi, a byddwch yn byw. Dw i'n mynd i'ch setlo chi i lawr yn ôl yn eich gwlad eich hunain, a byddwch chi'n deall wedyn mai fi ydy'r Arglwydd. Mae beth dw i'n ddweud yn mynd i ddigwydd,’” meddai'r Arglwydd.Pobl Dduw yn un eto
15Dyma'r Arglwydd yn rhoi'r neges yma i mi: 16“Ddyn, dw i eisiau i ti gymryd ffon, ac ysgrifennu arni, ‘Jwda a holl bobl Israel sydd gydag e.’ Yna cymer ffon arall, ac ysgrifennu arni hi, ‘ffon Joseff, sef Effraim, a holl bobl Israel sydd gydag e.’ 17Dal nhw gyda'i gilydd yn dy law, fel un ffon. 18Yna pan fydd dy bobl yn gofyn, ‘Wyt ti am esbonio i ni beth rwyt ti'n wneud?’ 19Dywed wrthyn nhw, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Dw i'n mynd i gymryd y ffon sy'n cynrychioli Joseff a'r llwythau sydd gydag e, a'i chysylltu hi gyda ffon Jwda. Byddan nhw'n un ffon yn fy llaw i.’ 20Dal y ffyn rwyt ti wedi ysgrifennu arnyn nhw o'u blaenau, 21a dweud fel yma, ‘Dyma mae'r Arglwydd, y Meistr, yn ei ddweud: Dw i'n mynd i gasglu pobl Israel o'r gwledydd lle'r aethon nhw. Dw i'n mynd i'w casglu nhw o'r gwledydd hynny, a dod â nhw adre i'w gwlad eu hunain. 22Dw i'n mynd i'w gwneud nhw'n un genedl eto, ar fynyddoedd Israel. Un brenin fydd ganddyn nhw, a fyddan nhw byth eto wedi eu rhannu'n ddwy wlad ar wahân. 23Fyddan nhw ddim yn llygru eu hunain yn addoli eu heilunod ffiaidd, nac yn gwrthryfela yn fy erbyn i. Dw i'n mynd i'w hachub nhw er eu bod nhw wedi troi oddi wrtho i a phechu. Dw i'n mynd i'w glanhau nhw. Nhw fydd fy mhobl i, a fi fydd eu Duw nhw. 24Fy ngwas Dafydd fydd yn frenin arnyn nhw. Yr un bugail fydd ganddyn nhw i gyd. Byddan nhw'n ufudd i mi, ac yn gwneud beth sy'n iawn. 25“‘Byddan nhw'n byw yn y tir rois i i'm gwas Jacob, lle roedd eu hynafiaid yn byw. Byddan nhw'n cael byw yno, a'u plant, a'u disgynyddion am byth. Fy ngwas Dafydd fydd eu pennaeth nhw am byth. 26Bydda i'n gwneud ymrwymiad i roi heddwch iddyn nhw – ymrwymiad fydd yn para am byth. a Bydda i'n eu setlo nhw yn y tir, yn gwneud i'r boblogaeth dyfu eto, a gosod y deml yn eu canol nhw am byth. 27Bydda i'n byw gyda nhw. Fi fydd eu Duw nhw, a nhw fydd fy mhobl i. 28Pan fydd fy nheml yn eu canol nhw am byth, bydd y cenhedloedd yn gwybod fy mod i, yr Arglwydd, wedi cysegru Israel i mi fy hun.’” ▼▼37:24-28 Mae'r addewidion yma yn debyg i'r bendithion wnaeth Duw eu haddo i'w bobl ffyddlon yn Lefiticus 26:1-13

How do I do a word study?

When you click on a word, the detailed lexicon opens with:
'Vocabulary' Bibles link the translation to Greek & Hebrew. So far, only some Bibles have this vocabulary feature. They are shown in the Bible select screen with the letter 'V'.
It is the number of occurrences of a word in the Bible. Click on it to see them all in the selected Bible(s).
This reveals different forms for some words and names. These details are often interesting to scholars, eg the word 'beginning' in Genesis.
